it's the holidays..

my mom just got me out of bed because she told some lady that she'd take her to get something from some store because her name was drawn and she doesn't have a lot of money, so this was for christmas and she also didn't have a way to get to the store and pick out her winnings. i hope this doesn't take a long time because i'm going to be going to my grandma's house to get my nails done and walk with my walker and this just pushes the time back of when i'm going to get to get my nails done and walk. i don't know if my mom was even telling the truth by telling me about this lady and this drawing.
oh yea, i gave my references volunteer form (that i need to volunteer at gillette hospital) to the supervisor of the swimming program at the courage center the last time that i went swimming at the courage center on thursday. she said that she'd have it filled out by the next time that i come for swimming. maurice said that i should get a paying job first before just getting a volunteer job but i think that i'm going to start off by getting a volunteer job just to get my feet wet at first, who knows where it'll lead.
